Dr. Roberts is a Consultant Haematologist and lead for Obstetric Haematology, specialising in haemostasis, thrombosis, and women’s bleeding and thrombotic disorders. At our clinic, she focuses on optimising women’s health before pregnancy and supporting them postpartum.

Dr. Roberts assists women in preparing for pregnancy by assessing bleeding histories, thrombotic risks, and iron, B12, and folate status, providing replacement where needed. She offers tailored postpartum support, including thrombosis prevention and reviewing bleeding histories. She is skilled in identifying and correcting hematinic deficiencies.

She has extensive expertise in determining when to request heritable or acquired thrombophilia screening (including antiphospholipid antibodies) and interpreting these results. Dr. Roberts also guides on contraception and HRT for women at thrombotic risk, and provides local IV iron therapy.

Beyond haematology, she integrates lifestyle medicine—nutrition, sleep, and social well-being—empowering women with evidence-based care. She looks forward to supporting you with compassionate, expert care. Consultations can be conducted in both Welsh and English, depending on your preference.
